Facilities
Operating Theatre
The department of orthopaedics provides two major operating theatres in 2nd floor “B” block OT complex and two emergency OT in the ground floor of “B” block complex which is functioning round the clock to provide the best patient care.
All OT’s are designed with laminar flow, along with constant Pressure and Temperature Monitoring to ensure “CLEAN” OT. All Theatre practices follow NABH Standard Operating Protocols, which are strictly adhered to and monitored by a designated OT committee which monitors The Quality Indicators, which are regularly reviewed to achieve a more efficient practice.
C-Arm
We are equipped with two mobile Fluoroscopy units for operating trauma and spine cases. This helps the operating surgeon visualise the anatomy without making large incisions. Hence enabling us to provide minimally invasive surgeries.
Minor OT
Since the number of emergency cases has been on the rise, the majority of patients with Simple open wounds are treated on an emergency basis in our minor OT. pop, splints and first aid care are also provided in the minor OT on an emergency basis especially for those patients not requiring admission.
