Patient Care Services Offered
The department offers general medical care besides special clinics like Diabetic clinic, Hypertension clinic, Thyroid clinic and Hematology clinic. The department also actively participates in providing community health services in association with NGO’s in rural areas of Puducherry and Tamil Nadu by conducting outreach camps. The department also is actively involved in conducting Telemedicine camps.
General OPD Services
OPD functions between 8.30 am and 4.00 pm every day except Sundays and holidays.

Private Clinic
The department of General Medicine offers a fast track, quality out-patient care to patients by senior consultants. Department also offers a comprehensive Master Health Check-up service to individuals visiting the hospital for a general check-up. If you prefer to consult with our senior consultant, please visit the MRD of the hospital and get an appointment for the private clinic.
Seasonal Clinic
To benefit the general public in case of regional outbreaks of infectious diseases like Influenza outbreaks (Swine flu, avian influenza), Dengue, Malaria etc., we run this seasonal clinic with an experienced team. We strictly adhere to the guidelines of international bodies in providing treatment and care. In case of an outbreak, the public is requested to make use of this facility.
Medical Camps / Telemedicine Camps
We constantly conduct medical camps in and around Puducherry and Tamilnadu. If you are an NGO or any social organizations and want to conduct general medical checkup camps or specialty camps like diabetics, cardiology, etc., please contact the camp coordinating the team of the hospital.
