Our Team
MGMCRI is well equipped with a team of highly qualified doctors, nurses, critical care specialists, technicians to operate the most modern and complex equipment. The staff joining the hospital are initially inducted in hospital policies and procedures. They are further trained to upgrade themselves in their professional skills.

Working together with your Consultant, and supported by the staff in a variety of other disciplines, our medical team contributes to ensuring your stay is as comfortable as possible.
Your comfort
It is our belief that medical care is at its most effective when you are in a pleasant and relaxed environment. We provide all our patients with a nurse call system. We also provide in certain classes, Televisions and refrigerators. Our experienced Catering and Dietetic teams cater to the needs of the patients. Our staff can be made aware of any food allergies, intolerances or special dietary requirements you have. We serve vegetarian food.

The Help Desk/ Reception is on the ground floor to the left side in the lobby as you enter. On your arrival, all your queries will be answered here. If you would like to have a view of the hospital/rooms prior to admission, please feel free to request. The Help Desk contact number is 0413-2611259.
There is a team of Patient care Takers to guide or help you reach your desired location in the Hospital.
You need to go through the First Contact Clinic at the Reception where a Medical Doctor will ask for history and examine if required and guide you to the specific Department Outpatient Clinic.
There is a Registration Counter at the reception and the Patient Care Takers will assist you in completing hospital formalities.
What to bring with you
We make every effort to ensure that you are as comfortable as possible during your stay. We provide you with all the conveniences you would expect, including fresh linen and patient’s uniform. You should bring your personal belongings like toiletries, hair comb, soap toothbrush etc.
Registration
All Patients visiting MGMCRI Hospital for the first time will have to register and will be provided with a card bearing the permanent number of MGMCRI hospital which is their unique identification number. This card will help the hospital staff to provide quick and efficient service to patients whenever they visit the hospital.
Medicines
All medicines, consumables, etc. for the patient will be provided by the Hospital only. These may form part of the package that you are being treated under. All other drugs, consumables will be charged extra. The patient’s relatives/attendants are restrained from bringing any medicines, consumables from outside. All are requested to co-operate with the security department.
Valuables
Patients are advised not to wear or keep any jewellery or cash during their hospitalization. Hospital is not responsible for any loss caused.
Patient consent
As an In-Patient or Day Care Patient, you will be required to consent in writing to your procedure. Your Consultant may have done this at your initial consultation, but in any event, it must be gained prior to going into theatre.
Special requirements
We recognize that everyone has individual circumstances and needs, and we use this as a basis for planning your care.
Allergies
There are certain aspects, e.g. allergies such as latex, drugs, where you would be exposed to risk if we were not aware of them. Whilst these issues are very rare, the hospital takes its responsibilities in these areas very seriously. So, if you have any further concerns regarding the above, please telephone the hospital prior to your admission. Please make all clinical staff aware of any allergies that may affect your treatment. Our clinical staff including Resident Doctors and Nurses would be happy to help you out. It is imperative that you give them a proper history of any drug allergy, any incidence of specific drug allergies, any hospitalization previously due to drug allergy etc. You should preferably carry a note concerning allergy from your Family Physician.
Medical Records
We have a well equipped Medical Record Department. To get a copy of your case details, you would need to apply in writing to the Medical Superintendent through the Medical Record Officer. You will be charged a fee for this service. Please be aware that if you need any other documentation, such as Discharge Summary / Medical Certificates, etc, the Medical Record Officer would be able to guide you further.
Smoking is not permitted in the hospital premises.
