We are the only hospital having 128 slice CT Scan machine in the region and advanced facilities to meet all the radio diagnostic requirements. We offer diagnostic services for patients referred from other hospitals or clinics. Our department functions 24x7x365 to handle routine and emergency cases. We provide good imaging services at a subsidized cost. We have a dedicated and effective team of doctors and technicians to extend the quality and timely service for patients.Â
The diagnostic armamentarium of the department of radiology includes 1.5 Tesla magnetic resonance imaging (Philips intern), Computed Tomography (128 slice Wipro GE and Dual slice Wipro GE), 6 Ultrasound units (inclusive of 4D state–of–the–art colour Doppler units) a mammography unit, in addition to 1000mA digital HF system with image intensifier.

Detailed planning CT scans prior to tumor surgeries to assess the extent of the tumor and feasibility of safe removal can also be done. Telephonic discussions with referring surgeons, onsite discussions with our clinical radiology team as well as elaborate 3D reconstructed films can be facilitated. This helps in better outcomes for difficult surgeries.
3D CT scans are done for Acute and Emergency abdominal conditions like bowel obstructions, bowel bleeding, abdominal acute infections and inflammations and abdominal pain. These cases are performed on a priority basis as soon as they are wheeled into the department and detailed films and reports with telephonic report intimation to referring doctors are available within half an hour.
