Department of Pharmacology is in-charge of Central Animal House, MGMCRI, which is established in. 2002. Current registration number of the animal house is 686/PO/Re/S/02/CPCSEA. All the animals are housed as per the guidelines issued by CPCSEA. A qualified veterinary surgeon is In-charge of the Animal House with adequate staff. The animal house facility is used for PG teaching in pre- and para-clinical subjects, Research activities by faculties, PGs and research scholars. Periodical meetings of the Institutional animal ethics committee (IAEC) are held for the approval of animal projects.
