Overview
The Department of Neurosurgery offers low cost, high quality treatment for disorders of the nervous system including brain, spinal cord, spinal column, cerebrovascular system and peripheral nerves. These disorders may be due to tumors, traumatic injury, birth defects or infections.
Mission
- To provide comprehensive, ethical, safe and high quality brain and spine surgical care
- Impart quality neurosurgical resident training
- To help establish translational and basic neuroscience research at MGMCRI
