Dr. Richa Gupta joined MGMCRI in the position of Assistant professor on 27th June, 2014 and is currently working as a Professor in Department of Physiology since September 2020. She has obtained her MD in Physiology from AIIMS, New Delhi and has 11 years of UG teaching experience. She is the co-author of the book "Practical Physiology for MBBS (Objectively Structured Practical Examination". She is interested in new paradigms of teaching for engaging students in active learning. She has 2 copyrights and has published 12 articles in reputed journals like BMC Medical Education, Advances in Physiological Sciences and National Medical Journal of India. She has also reviewed articles for reputed journal like BMJ and Current Psychology apart from other national and international journals. She is also an active MEU member and has special interest in e-learning tools and techniques.

Dr. Sobana Jaiganesh is a Professor of physiology having completed a master's and a doctorate in medical physiology. She is an American Heart Association certified BLS, ACLS instructor and Society for Simulation in Healthcare Certified healthcare Simulation educator. She has completed the NHET-Sim (National Health Education Trainer) by Monash University, Australia and level III Faculty training by Pedi STARS, India. Presently she is a Fellow of the International Paediatric Simulation Society. She has presented research papers in the International Meeting in Simulation Healthcare and INSPIRE (International Network for Simulation-based Paediatric Innovation, Research, and Education). Curricular integration of simulation and virtual simulation are her research interest.

Dr. Keni Gowsi is a teaching faculty working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiology, at MGMCRI Puducherry. 

She joined the institute on the 19th of April 2023. She has finished her MBBS from the prestigious Madras Medical College, Chennai (Batch of 2005) and obtained her MD in Physiology from the renowned JIPMER, Puducherry. She has around 3 years of post-graduate teaching and 6 years of undergraduate teaching expertise.

She has published around 8 papers in various national and international journals. She received the "R Srinivasan Prize" for the best paper presentation by a PG in APPICON 2017. She has attended various regional, national, and international conferences and presented scientific papers to her credit. She is an active member of the Association of Physiologists of India and its regional branches. 

Her main teaching and research interests are in the fields of Exercise Physiology, Endocrine Physiology, among others. Apart from academic and research commitments, she has been actively involved as a resource person and volunteer in various scientific programs and workshops, and holds a special expertise in treadmill-based physiological experiments.

Dr. NIKHILESH SINGH MBBS, MD (Physiology) Completed MBBS in 2003 from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) and Postgraduation in 2008 from AIIMS, New Delhi, Worked as a senior resident at AIIMS, New Delhi before joining as Asst. Professor in 2011 at PCMS&RC, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh).

Joined MGMC & RI as Asst. Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2019. 

Published research articles, commentary, and reviews in national and international indexed, peer-reviewed journals.

Co-authored book on Objectively Structured Practical Examination (OSPE) as a learning tool for I MBBS students for practicals in physiology.

Was awarded copyright by the Government of India for devising a novel method for grading exercise. Has been an external examiner for one university.

Attended various National and International conferences. Have undergone training in Basic Medical Workshop in 2013 at PCMS&RC, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh).
